The “Foundation for the appraisal of the public demeanour” is based upon observations taken over a 14 year period working as a licensed London taxi driver. As a group we are in a unique position to gauge the mood of London and its inhabitants. Taxi drivers pick up an eclectic mix of people and transport them to where ever they want to go. Our client base extends from the rich and famous to the poor, scratching a living from day to day. London is an expensive place to live and work and to hire licensed taxis. As a group, we get to meet people from all walks of life and our passengers are not shy about coming forward and airing their views and opinions, and it must be said, nor are we.
