Hi Mike, I would like to pass on the comments I have received for a service we booked with you on 7th July 2010. You provided a service that enabled our Health & Safety Consultant to attend a pre-arranged training session. This involved collecting said person from their home, taking them to Paddington Station, making sure they got on the train, and then repeating the service in the evening when the consultant returned. Most people would say that this service wasn’t remarkable except the consultant had a nasty accident the week before and is confined to a wheelchair at present. Your driver Paul who was assigned for this service was extremely helpful, nothing was too much bother. He assisted our consultant through what is a daunting experience when you are in a wheelchair, to Paddington Station and accompanied them until they were on the train. Then in the evening the same process was repeated. Our consultant has said in their words “He was Excellent”. My husband Graham as Senior Director of Music Household Division performs on many State Ceremonial Occasions in front of the Monarch where it is imperative that he is on time. We therefore need to know that a vehicle will arrive as requested and be able to efficiently negotiate the very busy streets of London in order that we reach his destination promptly. Recently some American friends left a camera in the back of a taxi and the driver went out of his way in order to return it for which we are very grateful. Mike, Report on our tour and 2nd trip. Cab was clean and comfortably held 6 people for our 2hr. trip round London. The air conditioning was great on such a hot day. Dave our driver was very polite and most helpful, he knew London and was able to answer any questions we put to him. I would certainly use him again. It was great to see the olympic site, something I wanted to see, but thought I would not. I run a Tour company in Swansea and will certainly be recommending your company to other people in the future. We will certainly use your cabs in the future, next time we are in London. The “Meet and Greet – Safe Conduct” Black Cab service has literally changed my life. As a busy working Mum I was having huge difficulties collecting my daughter from swim-training in the evenings whilst trying to get the baby ready for bed. It was impossible to be in two places at the same time. Now Chris picks my daughter up after swimming and brings her home for me. He is always on time, I have no worries whatsoever about my daughter’s safety, and she loves it because he has a television in the cab which we don’t have in the car! Brilliant!!!! Many many thanx. I just wanted to say thanks for all the work you and your driver did for the filming a couple of weeks ago.
We are still looking at needing the black cab for more reconstruction filming on Monday 17 – Wed 19 May.
Only one day within this period.
The day is still to be confirmed.
We would love to have on board the same driver, if that’s ok?
He was fantastic.
Do keep those dates in mind for the moment and I’ll be in touch again shortly as soon as I can confirm.
Can I also ask – would it be possible that we get a taxi that has a window that opens between the driver and the passenger – with the openable interior window?

Mike – Thanks for everything. John probably told you just how determined he had to be to find us on our first day, but everything after that went off without a hitch.
John was a great driver, and made our trip through London to Kings Cross Station really informative and fun. On the trip back, he was waiting for us at the train and we got underway immediately, which put our minds at ease as we were anxious to check in for our international flight.
Now, on to my question : in the US, we always tip cab drivers for the kind of service we got from LBT. If a gratuity was built into the fee you charged to my card, that is great, and thanks. If not, would you please charge my card another ten pounds for John? He really was fantastic. Thanks!
